Activities are organized under the auspices of Jain Hi-Tech Agri Institute (JHAI) for awareness and motivation especially amongst farmers.

Residential accommodation is available for up to 100 participants in the Jain Gurukul.

Three well equipped indoor A/C halls for training with seating capacity of around 25, 75 and 250 participants are part of the Jain Gurukul for education & training.

Audience : Farmers, Government Officers, Bankers, Agri Students, Dealers, Contractors, Staff and Operators.

Programme Structure : 1, 3, 5, 15 days programmes can be customized, based on following curriculum:

• Watershed Planning : Rainwater harvesting, wasteland transformation, water management.

• MIS & SIS : Design, installation, operation, maintenance, irrigation/ Fertigation scheduling.

• Controlled Agri : Green/ Shade house design, installation, operation & maintenance, agronomy.

• Organic Farming :Bio Pesticides, Vermicompost, manure.

• Crop Specific : Irrigation, Fertigation, Agronomy, Plant protection.

• Field Visits : Corporate, contract and farmers field visits.

• Plastic Piping : Design, installation, operation & maintenance of plastic piping for lift irrigation projects, water works, water and wastewater treatment facilities, house service connections, sewerage pipelines, slurry and chemical transport, effluent disposal, aquaculture, marine applications, land fill facilities, hazardous waste disposal facilities, gas conveyance, cable ducting for OFC lines, agricultural spray networks, dust suppression, hand pumps, bore wells & tube wells, casing and screen pipes etc.

Languages : Marathi, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Translator assisted in any other language.

States : Assam, AP, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal, Karnataka, Maharashtra, MP, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, TN, Uttaranchal, UP.

Research Programmes : PG research in plant molecular biology & tissue culture for crop improvement.

Affiliations : Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, TNAU, Punjab Agri and NMU, Udaipur Agri, UAS Dharwad, Lowa State University, USA.

Extension Services : 3 open air facilities with about 2000, 4000 & 5000 person capacities for conferences, seminars, symposia, tradeshows, exhibitions, workshops, farmer’s melas, etc.
