LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR ‘JAIN TURBO EXCEL’ AND ‘JAIN TURBOLINE SUPER’ DRIPLINES

• This warranty covers all the sizes and flow rates manufactured and licensed as per IS 13488:2008.
• Dripline JTE / JTLS is considered to be clogged when 3/4th of the emitters from the samples received for evaluation at JISL’s testing laboratory deliver discharge less than 30% of the nominal discharge of that emitter under standard testing conditions. Actual quantity of clogged emitter will be decided after necessary field evaluation.
• During the warranty period, JISL will repair or replace solely at its option and discretion, any or only the part/s found to be defective or the entire product or refund part or full cost of the product at purchase price, which JISL finds to be defective due to material used or workmanship. Under no circumstances JISL, will be liable for payment of any other charges/liability/damages- consequential or otherwise whatsoever other than mentioned above.
• In the event a product has been discontinued, JISL, at its sole discretion, shall either repair the product, offer to replace it with a comparable product or provide a refund at the lesser of the purchase price or the product’s current value, within 3 years from the date of discontinuation.
• Repaired or replacement products will continue to be covered by this warranty for the remainder of the original warranty term.
• This warranty does not cover cost of repair or replacement of part and/or product due to misuse or wrong use or abuse of a product, including use of a product for a purpose not intended as set forth in JISL’s Product Brochure, or improper installation/maintenance, alteration, tampering, modification of the product/s, or unauthorised repairs.
• This warranty does not cover damages inflicted by insects, worms, beetles, crickets, rodents, squirrels and other pests/animals/creatures, root intrusion inside emitters, plugging of emitter due to soil/sand/silt/any other physical, chemical or biological substance entered through the outlet of emitter or by miscreants and/or due to natural calamities such as hailstorm, lightening, flood, fire, earthquakes as well as theft, riot, civil commotion or war etc.,
• This warranty does not cover wear and tear caused by fluid abrasives and/or damage caused by over-pressurisation.
• This is JISL’s sole and exclusive warranty only for its products “Jain Turbo Excel” and “Jain Turboline Super”. JISL expressly excludes and disclaims all other warranties of any type, whether expressed or implied, including, without limitation, those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• JISL will not be liable for any loss, liability, damage, cost or obligation, whether direct or indirect, including but not limited to replacement labor or operating costs, crop or vegetation loss, or any other consequential or incidental or punitive damages of any type, resulting from the use of its products.
• This warranty is NOT deemed to be a consumer warranty, is not transferable, and does not extend to anyone other than those who purchase products from JISL or through its authorised dealers/distributors.
• It is the sole responsibility of the customer to lodge a complaint in a prescribed format available with the Authorized Dealer from whom the materials were purchased along with necessary sample/s as described in the complaint form within thirty days after discovery of an alleged defect in materials, workmanship and clogging of emitters due to physical and chemical contaminants. In the event of complaint regarding clogging of emitters customer shall ensure that he has conducted chemical treatment and other maintenance practices as prescribed in the guidelines before lodging the complaint. This warranty shall be void unless buyer delivers the defective product along with copy of invoice and batch number of the product to the nearest JISL depot at buyer’s sole cost and in accordance with JISL’s instructions.
• Conditions of Usages: This warranty is not valid if the irrigation system and/or its components are subjected or exposed to but not limited to any of the following:
  • Entire system, including its entire components (except pump) is not manufactured/supplied by JISL.
  • Installed pump is not as specified in design or does not generate designed pressure and/or discharge or is not installed properly.
  • Irrigation water source and/or location is changed and is other than specified originally.
  • Operating pressures greater/less than those specified in the product specifications;
  • Irrigation water which has not been filtered to the level specified;
  • Irrigation water quality parameters are not up to the normal level as specified in Indian Standard IS :14791 (Table 1, clause 4.3);
  • System maintenance is not done as specified in Indian Standard IS 14791;
  • Chemical concentrates and/or mixtures and/or compounds, used or applied internally or externally to the product;
  • Mechanical abuse which are harmful to the individual components;
  • Changes made in the originally supplied system hydraulics;
  • Products/components are not stored properly;
  • General/ Maintenance Guidelines specified as available and can be viewed at Maintenance circular are not followed strictly;
  • For subsurface application, if installation is not executed as per guideline specified as available and can be viewed at Guideline for Sub–surface JTE and JTLS Systems to prevent emitter suck back;
• Purchase of either of the above mentioned Products amounts to acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Warranty.
• This warranty is extended only within the territory of India and subject to the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of this Warranty will be exclusively at the Courts in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India or at the discretion of JISL.
